Dr. James Lamphear, MD

I am furious that HCA closed Dr. Lamphere's office. The physician that we were transferred to has no idea about my child, about his past medical history, his communication issues or autism. The smooth transition I was promised did not happen.

We were greeted immediately when we walked in the office and were treated with such kindness that I knew instantly we had made the right choice for our daughters care. Dr. Lamphear is very thorough and ensures that you as the patient and parents of the patient understand everything. He does not rush through his appointments, he takes his time to answer any questions.

Dr. Lamphear is great. My son had a milk protein allergy, and he diagnosed it right away. Got him on the correct formula, and gave us a process to wean him on to regular milk once old enough. He's so nice, and really listens to your concerns. Would definitely recommend.

Dr. Lamphear made a special appointment to fit my daughter in when she had a gallbladder attack and diagnosed it on the spot. Every member of his staff treated us with care and concern and knew us by name. It was like having an entire team of family members helping her find a surgeon to remove it ASAP. Can not recommend enough!

Visiting Augusta Pediatric Specialists was a great experience. His entire staff was friendly, welcoming and professional.
