Arrogant, rude, extremely dismissive. Does not listen or seem to care about what is actually going on with patients and seems to have already formed opinion before examining the patient. Does not communicate diagnosis or give information about prescribed medications. This provider is untruthful when asked questions in regards to medications. Rudely dismisses pediatric and adult patients alike. Extremely dismissive and degrading towards patients and their parents/families. I would not recommend this mid level provider for adults or children. Do not waste your time or money as you will have to go somewhere else anyway to get appropriate treatment by a knowledgeable provider.

My husband and I have were seen for a little over two years by him. He is arrogant, aloof, and dismissive. Most recently, I was seen to confirm pregnancy. He stated that he would not run an HcG panel. I told him that I had a history of miscarriage and he completely dismissed it outright. I ended up miscarrying a week later. My OBGyn ran the HcG panel and stated that the levels were low and probably had been low for a while. I’m so glad this provider is no longer with Nelms Family Practice.

Started going to this office when i was a teen, 20 years later no issues. I've been a patient of jim probably last ten years. Feel like jim and staff always go above and beyond expectations. Good ppl excellent care.
