Long Time Patient Disappointed
I have seen Jaliah for three years now and it has generally been good. She is always late for my appointment but I just took it as going with the profession and understood. Today, I walked in 6 minutes late due to lights being out on Harrodsburg Road due to a power outage. Her mom (office secretary) wasn’t there like usual and she was standing at the front desk. She scolded me for being late (told her I would just take it off my time). She continued to scold me the rest of my time. So unlike her! I was shocked. Something is wrong.

Cannot even comprehend these negative reviews. Office staff is so friendly and organized. Jailah is 100% invested in your therapy, and is exactly what I needed. I realized I had been “existing” in therapy with prior experiences until I met Jailah. She does not tell you what you want to hear, but what you need to hear, in a very non threatening way. Extremely down to Earth and I have really grown tremendously over the past months I have seen her. I love her no-nonsense manner.

Life-changing therapist
Jaliah not only saved my life but improved it in so many ways. She helped guide me through my dysfunction and taught me so many invaluable skills. I would not be where I am today because of her knowledge and empathy. For those struggling with eating disorders, I highly recommend her.

Amazing!
I am shocked by the bad reviews. Jayliah has had a great impact on my life, in the best way possible. She makes me feel validated and supported though everything. I went through 6 therapists before I found her and I have been with her for years. I am so thankful for her and her office.

If you are looking for a therapist to help your child and be part of the team as their parent, stay away. Although Jaliah may have helped my daughter, shew was unavailable to meet or talk to me and my husband. In five months, we received no feedback whatsoever. I also agree with previous comments, the office assistant is extremely persnickety adding a lot of stress to an already stressful situation. Not the best fit for our family -- might be helpful for an individual.

I agree 100% with all of the negative reviews! 1. Rudest office I have ever encountered. 2. They do consistently run 20-30 minutes behind. Very disrespectful of patients’ time. 3. Most difficult office I have ever encountered as to the Appointment scheduling. If you do not call within a day or 2 of them opening the book (scheduling 4 months ahead) for that month, you will NOT get an appointment. Got to the point I dreaded calling them and going into that office. That is not the way it should be. I swallowed my pride and accepted their disrespect as my daughters were getting help. Granted, it would have gone a lot faster had we been able to get in consistently each month. And yes, having to schedule 4 months in advance, things came up and we had to cancel from time to time. So know if you do cancel, you will not be able to get another appointment that month. I continued to go there for my daughters, as a Mom, I will do anything for them, but it was miserable.

Office Disrespectful to Clients! This office runs a minimum of 20 minutes behind EVERY appt. I have also waited as long as 40-45 minutes. I even scheduled the first appt of the day thinking that would be better. NOPE. She will roll in about 15 minutes late. That snowballs and makes the entire day run behind. I am taking time off work and don’t appreciate missing 2.5 hours of work because she doesn’t start on time and runs late. However, I am supposed to be there 10-15 minutes early to handle my copay, check in, etc. Zero respect for her clients and her clients’ time. AND if you have to cancel an appt due to a work trip, you will not be able to get back in. Also, the stress and anxiety of missing work, waiting at appts, and difficulty re-scheduling far outweigh any benefits of the therapy. Potential clients beware!!!

She told me (in a nonsexual way) that she loved me at the end of our sessions and not until months after terminating with her did it occur to me how inappropriate this is. I also felt judged during our sessions which is why I eventually terminated with her. She is really good at her job and still helped me a ton, but has issues with boundaries and her clients in my honest opinion. I suspect that there was some transference happening on her end that prompted her to cross boundaries with me.

Jaliah has a home based office because she wanted everyone to have a friendly environment and private, confidential setting. She is good at what she does and she stays booked up. She has went out of her way to help me in many ways, including having late appointment to accommodate my time. I really don't know where I would be without her, she has saved me from a mental break down and has helped me turn my life around. She is a pet lover and has let me bring my little dog with me for session.

If you are dealing with an eatting disorder Jaliah is the women to see. She knows the topic and is extremely respectful, welcoming, and wants to see you succeed. Because she is so good, you will wait to be scheduled. If you can see her you should.

Horrible experience. When I called to make an appointment, jailahs office assistant said the next available was 3 months out. I said I'd like to call a few other places before confirming. She stated she wouldn't deal with my rudeness, and hung up. I called back & explained the situation to Jailah herself, stating there may have been a miscommunication. Jailah said that's how they do things, that she was the best (wow?) & they don't deal with 'shopping around'. I can't imagine she's the best.

Waited months to see her for an initial appointment, only to be told that she would be unable to continue to see me due to not having enough room in her schedule, despite being told that she was taking new patients when I originally called to inquire.
