Dr. Jaime Blanchard, OD

Dr. Blanchard was very competent, catching a recurring issue that I've been having and that an exam with another optometrist 2 months ago did not. Yes, the office was very busy, resulting in a wait and a somewhat rushed office, but I was thankful that they squeezed me in on that day when I needed to be seen. Costco optometry were scheduling out 3-4 months(?!) It's a balance: a relaxed, timely appointment in a few months, or get in right away. If you're having an issue, it's an easy choice.Three days later was my follow-up, and the office was much less busy, and I was seen right away. Dr. Blanchard answered my questions and prescribed a regimen to keep what had been a nagging issue from coming back.

Unlike the other reviews, my experience with Jaime Blanchard was extremely bad. She was inappropriate, inconsiderate, irresponsible and downright rude. Most importantly, when I asked her to change her gloves ( I didn't know where they were before me) She was snarky, in my face, beyond rude and said "Here, let me sanitize these gloves for you." She proceeded to take HAND SANITIZER and wash her gloves with it. As a professional, she should have changed her gloves immediately. Instead, she chose to be unprofessional. I am making a formal complaint to the State of Wisconsin. She chose to compromise my eyes potentially with further infection. I, in no way, shape or form will ever recommend Dr. Blanchard.

Competent and empathetic. Made me feel comfortable and explained the results of each procedure as it relates to my health condition.

Beyond 5 stars! Jaime genuinely cares about her patients and i feel like she has gone above and beyond to fit my needs! She is super quick to communicate with which is very much appreciated in my busy schedule. I highly recommend her over anyone I’ve seen in the past.
