Jacqueline had a one hour session with my son yesterday to observe and interact with him in order to assess his needs - I was thoroughly impressed with her approach, which started out very simply by establishing rapport and getting him to talk, so she could observe. She asked questions that inspired him to engage in conversation, and continued asking questions so she could begin to identify his strengths and weaknesses. Ultimately she asked enough questions that allowed her to identify what his weaknesses were, and we spoke about that at length, including most importantly her opinion on whether these issues were improvable and with what kind of assistance and for how long. I'm really glad we had the opportunity to meet with her, she was extremely professional while being very personable and engaging. Mission accomplished, I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for speech & language assistance.
