I have been seeing Jake since he started working with Central AZ Pain Institute. He has always taken time to understand my concerns, address any issues immediately and explain my options in detail. He is honest, straightforward, caring, patient and truly interested in helping people manage their chronic pain. He is highly experienced and knowledgeable with all of my conditions as well as the latest in pain management, treatments, medications, state and federal regulations, etc. I appreciate that he treats me as a whole person and understands that people with similar conditions experience pain differently. I have had ongoing spinal issues for over 25 years with many surgeries and attempts at pain management after surgery. Jake is the first person who has helped me obtain optimum quality of life after my many surgeries. I would recommend Jake and Dr. Baumann for pain management to anyone with realistic health goals.

In my 62 yrs of life, no one has wanted to take the time w/me for my pains..I use to walk w/a cane. Jake found all the auto immune disease's I have & treats my symptoms.. Also he recommended I have Pain Stimulater put in low back.. It wks great, still have some pains, but NO cane anymore.. Jake is the Best & I respect everything he says. He did alot of research & diagnosed my problems.. I will forever be indebted to him for all he's done for me, where NO ONE else has. And I feel almost me again.. Also Jake has a kind & gentle soul.. Thnz Jake, your my treasure..

Jacob is a very understanding medical professional at Central Arizona Pain Institute. He spends as much time as needed to listen to me, and explains the seriousness of my disability. I have always been accommodated if I need to reschedule an appointment, and the office staff members are courteous and patient with me. I always get to my appointments early, and most of the time Jacob's staff gets me right back to see Jacob, or the Doctor before the time of my appointment. I like that!

I thought he was rude, and condescending. He had the wrong medical records on me, and said I had osteoarthritis which I don't . He said there isn't much they could do, and wanted to give me another injection when the first one did not help from day 1. He said my back pain is not from an injury.. Well considering my pain is doesn't negate the fact he is so unprofessional. He did explain medical condition, if in fact it had been my medical condition. They do not know the right from the left.

Jacob is the best pain specialist that I have ever dealt with. He is very compassionate and takes the time to explain all the features of the reasons for my discomfort with lower back pain. He has a wonderful personality and conducts himself professionally at all times. I would recommend him to anyone with pain issues. I look forward to my visits to his office. Unfortunately, I recently moved from Prescott to Carlsbad, CA, so now I'm in the throes of finding a new pain management doctor.

Jake is my new Pain Management Specialist working at Central Ariz. Pain Inst.. He took over for Lisa who moved. I've had 3 visits with him, and he is polite, intelligent, concerned for your health, honest, and does not rush. I am getting knee surgery and he assisted me with temporary meds for after the surgery and during mu post op rehabilitation at a local P.T. office. I am happy with Jake, he is a P.A.. He will honestly confer with you about pain meds, so be ready to hear the truth.
