Should be more direct
Dr F is a very kind and gentle soul, but there are times that we need someone to confront our behavior and he failed me there. He was my supervisor as an intern 20 years ago and if he would have been honest with me then, we may have addressed my trauma from childhood then vs me stuffing it for another 20 years. I wish he would have been more direct, so that we could have opened up the pain and started dealing with it then. Because he let me hide it and stuff it back down, it didn't come out to be dealt with again for 20 years.

Dr. Ivan Fleishman is clearly a man that studied psychology in order to help people and to make a difference in people's lives. He doesn't accept my insurance but still offered to help me with what he could over the phone and was extremely knowledgeable and insightful! What a difference from many doctors in Florida who just see you as dollar signs and don't truly care about helping. A lady from my old job recommended Dr. Ivan Fleishman to me and now I see why. The doctor even offered his help

Dr. Fleishman made everything that seemed so complicated so simple. He helped both my sister and I heal from a difficult and traumatic time in our lives. He was also very equipped to direct us to the type of therapy that would best for the both of us. My sister has recovered greatly for her ptsd symptoms and I have gained a better understanding of myself and how to manage myself. I highly recommend him. His office is cozy and his demeanor and kind and inviting.

Ivan Fleishman is an excellent therapist. Intelligent, wise, kind, honest, perceptive, direct, caring. I had been to a few therapists (one very long term) previouDr. Fleishman, and then again when I moved away from FL, & honestly, he was the most effective & had the greatest insight. He shared his thoughts on issues when I asked for his thoughts, but never was imposing & never, ever judgmental or condescending. His ethics are immpecible & is exceptionally respectful. 5 PLUS stars!!!
