Isaac Gaston, APRN

Visit was for infected spider bite. Wound meant to be topically numbed with lidocaine, but gauze with lidocaine not secured. Wound was not numb. No other pain block applied. Sharp implement used by Gaston directly into wound without communication or notice. Gaston informed of intense pain caused. Patient audibly complained. With no communication, another sharp stab into the wound was made. Action caused patient to demand Gaston to stop. Gaston was rude and hostile, and offered little additional medical assistance or referral. Patient left in markedly more pain than initial condition, and infected wound quickly deteriorated. Gaston was ineffective, rude, offered no communication about procedure and had no regard for pain caused.
