If I could give Ilyssa 20 stars, I would. My partner and I have found her to be truly knowledgeable. She asks probing questions that force deep thinking. She's open-minded, kind, and wise. I couldn't recommend her more highly for effective couples therapy.

Ilyssa could not be a more kind, compassionate, well spoken and knowledgeable therapist. My partner and I have been seeing her for couples therapy regarding issues ranging from building trust, intimacy and fostering sexuality as well as issues related to prior relationships such as dealing with ex-partners and children from prior marriage. Her listening style is active and directive which we both enjoy much more than with some therapists who are more passive. Her suggestions and advice are concrete and never fail to be useful. We always leave with a homework assignment and never regret working through it together. Our relationship is much stronger and we are much happier together since we started working with Ilyssa.
