Excellent Care 100% of the Time
I am sad that the walk-in clinic on N Main St. in Providence has closed. I have used them for practically every acute issue I've had for a good decade. I always hoped I would get Ian when I went, and I usually did. He has a great bedside manner, and he always set me on the right path. One time, he suspected a staph infection on my skin but knew he was out of his depths and told me to go see my doctor. It turned out she was in the same boat- thought it was staph but not sure. The ointment Ian had prescribed was effective. When it comes to acute issues, I would trust Ian over an unknown MD. One time, I had bronchitis, and he gave me a breathing treatment in the office that eased my symptoms immediately. When I became pregnant unexpectedly, shortly after my OBGYN had retired, Ian was the one who went through all my meds with me, explaining what I could keep taking and what I needed to stop immediately, acting as an important stopgap before I could get in with a new OBGYN. I recommend him!
