Dr. Hillary Dolan, OD

I wear rigid contact lenses and one had broken. My first visit to Dr. Dolan resulted in an eye exam but no discussion at all. When I had made the appt, I had asked if they needed the info from the eye dr. I had been seeing in another state. They said no. I wrongly assumed that I would receive the latest technology in contact lenses when I went to pick them up. I am 61 and Dr. Dolan had ordered single vision lenses for me. She said I could wear reading glasses with them. I said no way. She said she didn't know what I had been wearing but she didn't ask me and had said no to my records. She said she would reorder the lenses. When I went to pick these up, I could not read with them - it was blurry. She said she would order new ones. I ended up making 5 visits with new contacts every time. The ones I settled for are no where close to what my old prescription was. A little uder $1000 and I don't have clear vision.

I've been going to Dr. Dolan's practice at Eye Care Associates/My Eye Doctor for the last 4 years. I had never needed an optometrist before her, and I was a little nervous. She totally put me at ease. She took time to explain to me what my retina picture meant and how everything worked. It seems she has moved up to Henderson after her pregnancy, so I will be setting up an appointment up there with her.
