Dr. Shields is on top of things. I had blood work done and was called to come in to talk about my results. She explained everything to me in detail, and answered every question I had until I felt confident I knew what was going on with my body. She is polite and respectful. I didn't feel like a bother or like I was just a paycheck for her. It was clear she cares.

Antibiotics
She is my PCP, i had seen her in Dec 30th and on May 15th i was on vacation. I had a tooth infection. I called and asked if she could call me in an antibiotic, I’d had tooth infections before and my dentist who retired so i was between dentists, would call in Clindamycin. She refused to call me in an ANTIBIOTIC for a swollen jaw and tooth infection because “she didn’t feel comfortable doing that.” It was an antibiotic that I’ve had before, not like i asked for a narcotic to be called in. Ridiculous.

Heather Shields should not be practicing!!
She didn't listen to what I had to say & when I wrote a bad review about her about it, she dropped me. Caring doctor I THINK NOT!!
