I saw Steinitz years ago and she single-handedly did more damage to me than any other medical professional. She uses CBT-like techniques and "tough love", blaming you for your own suffering. I never self harmed until I started seeing her. She will demean you, compare you to others to shame you into.. what? You can't shame someone into feeling positive. You can only abuse them this way. Avoid her if you have chronic pain or illness.
