Extremely unprofessional and unqualified to treat children with developmental disabilities. I brought my child in for a routine visit, but instead, Ms. Baston forced a written screening on my child—who struggles with reading—without my consent. She then asked me to leave the room and was alone with my disabled teen behind a closed door, which is completely inappropriate and a serious violation of boundaries. When I returned, my child was visibly distressed and uncomfortable. She didn’t complete the physical exam or the required paperwork, but she did file a report based on a brief, uninformed interaction. She showed no interest in hearing about my child’s diagnosis or medical history. To make matters worse, the visit was billed as a physician encounter, which never happened. That’s not just wrong, it’s untruthful. This was not care. It was careless, harmful, and unacceptable. I would never recommend this provider for any child, especially one with special needs.
