I Don't trust his health decisions
Several times I asked him to sit down with me and go over all my medications to see if there was any way to eliminate some, but he ignored me. He took it upon himself and removed several of my most needed meds when he could have taken out several less important meds. He removed 2 laxatives: I use opiate meds for severe pain & have issues with constipation. I now have NO laxatives. I've lost 50 lbs in 3 years, with more to go, but he removed Metformin, weight loss drug. He also removed sucralfate , which had completely stopped the awful stomach pains I had suffered for several years, which are now returning. He accused me of not knowing if or when I had bowel movements, basically calling me insane. He relied on staff recommendations rather than believe me. I am in private assisted living, but apparently they know more about my private habits than I do. He says they 'watch' me. I basically have no choice for health care. I texted & asked him to replace meds he had eliminated. No reply

Unimpressed
My sister has no choice in who she can see in the health system so she has been stuck with this sorry excuse for a PA. He will not listen to each of us. He has made judgements without getting to know her medical history and experiences. I have watched my sisters health decline under his care. And she has stopped caring what happens because he will not listen to her. He has medical gaslit her. I am her POA and I know what he is accusing her of is wrong. I am so frustrated with his poor skills and with the poor care my sister is getting.

Terrible listening skills
He rushes appointments. He shows brief moments of compassion, brief moments. But he rushes appointments, cuts you off, hems and haws around questions(probably because he didn't listen to you), and most important does not listen to you. How can he help you if he doesn't take the time to listen and understand. I don't expect him to understand everything about my rare disease(this would be nice), but it sure would be nice for him to listen and then try to help me instead of saying he can't help. He is quick to make assumptions and judgements before listening and he is very obvious in his assumptions and even when you try to correct him, he is still right. His misinformed assumption affected my treatment and caused me great pain and suffering. Always thought drs were there to listen and to help not create more pain and suffering.

Grant Needham saved my life. He and Dr. Gardner. My treatment was fantastic, people having a bad experience and writing a bad review don’t know the real Dr. Gardner and Dr. Needham. They are awesome. Russ Talbot

Grand Needham acted like he had never done a tube placement procedure before. He was more concerned about his music on his iPhone than patient care. My husband was in excruciating pain and you could tell Needham was panicked and unsure of himself. The office is pure chaos and no one knows what is going on in the front. They are "running behind" by 9 am, we have waited over an hour in the lobby each time we've been in. I would not recommend this office to anyone.
