Grace Santo aka Grace Nyblade- I Highly suggest going somewhere else for DBT. It’s only going to make things worse for your child and you to deal with Grace. She is a bully. Don’t get me wrong, I do think she is very knowledgeable but her personality is horrible. She also makes a lot of incorrect assumptions about your child. She talks negatively about former clients. She just seems like a bitter therapist that needs a new job. If your child is suicidal or self harming, she will only make things worse. A therapist should be someone your child can confide in.. Grace would not be that person.

Grace left me with more issues. She told me that no one would ever love ne.

Horrible social worker, should not have her license.

i had one consultation with her where she talked mainly about herself. which was a good thing because i noticed so many red flags and was able to avoid her. she’s hurt so many of my friends.

Agree with all of the other negative reviews. Very rude, poor clinical judgement. Wish I would have come across this site first.

Grace was horribly abusive and would yell at me for not using coping skills. I saw her when I was 14 and I have lasting trauma from it. She never wears shoes and she tried to hospitalize me for smoking marijuana once

This woman is totally incompetent and horrifyingly obnoxious. Her entire staff left, en masse, earlier this year and began their own practice without her. What does that tell you? Her financial disasters are also easily searchable if you know where to look. Stay far away from this mess!

Grace is a bully and unprofessional.

Grace Nyblade, née Santo, has been my therapist for almost 6 years (from about 15 to 21). I have been with her through multiple companies and have watched her build her own practice from scratch. No matter where her office is located, she is the most competent and assertive therapist I have ever met, and the only one I've ever felt truly comfortable with. She's never shied away from any issue I've presented, and knows when I need more firmness and when I need more tenderness. Grace incorporated a lot of CBT and DBT into her practice to help find real solutions to hard problems and to help introduce new perspectives. In addition to individual therapy, I have also attended multiple groups structured around DBT practices. I have found these to be helpful, especially the DBT groups I went to as a teenager. I have already recommended her to several of my friends and family members and strongly recommend her to all who are seeking help.

Grace is truly a nightmare. Went in with issues which never got addressed, and ended up leaving with some serious trauma. If you’re even considering her, run.

Initially great until she got $650 out of us then it went down hill very fast!

Less than one star if possible. Rude, unprofessional and manipulative. Not sure how she is still allowed to practice. Did so much more harm than help. Cookie cutter approach that works for some but not for most.

Grace preys upon the biggest fears of a parent to rope families into expensive therapy (mainly, group therapy where the therapists simply read from books) that is not covered by insurance. She will tell you that only she and her method of therapy can save your child. She recommends masturbation as a way for teens to deal with intense feelings. She is abrasive and rude and in-your-face, which may be effective for some children, but definitely not for all. So don't be afraid to shop around.

Am I allowed to rate it 0? No way anyone should have to be treated the way she treats her patients.
