I have been seeing Dr. Patel for chronic dry eyes, which have greatly improved under Dr. Patel’s care. During a recent routine follow-up and complaint about a film-like obstruction on my right eye, she quickly diagnosed me with a detached retina. Since I didn’t have any floaters or flashes of light in that eye, which are typical symptoms of a detached retina, I may not have had my eye checked before experiencing serious vision loss. I have sight complications due to a detached retina. Dr. Gopita Patel was very thorough, patient and knowledgeable. She could not have been more helpful. I never felt rushed and that I had Dr. Patel’s full attention. After my examination, she took the time to see the optician and explain the prescription.
Dr. Patel exceeded all expectations. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a highly qualified and personable optometrist.
