I saw her some time ago and the bad experience has been with me since. She is abrupt and has almost a mean demeanor. Did not stay on topic and was so unpleasant I would never, ever go back

I highly recommend Dr G Shurman, she has been not accepting insurance for more than 5 years but it’s totally worth it. She is one of the best psychologist i have ever known.

She asked to be paid directly vs. through insurance. I then contacted my insurance provider and they said that Dr. Shurman was in-network so they couldn't re-imburse me. Shady. As a therapist, I don't think she was a very astute person nor did she care about getting to the bottom/root cause of anything. In my opinion, she was only interested in scheduling more sessions/billable hours.
