I went in for a simple pap smear that should fully be covered by my insurance. When Ms. Nichols asked me what concern do I have, I said a minor hurt on my left side near the ovary. She didn't diagnose anything, just ordered a sonogram. When I checked out, BAM! The receptionist said Ms. Nichols put down a code for diagnosis. I didn't know ordering a sonogram is considered as a diagnosis. So, the woman center billed me $77 for a pap smear visit.
