Dr. Smith's practice dropped my sister for rescheduling appointments. My sister is an older handicapped person w no transportation, suffering from anxiety and depression, so one would think that Dr. Smith might have been aware of her issues, perhaps worked with her, anticipated her attendance issues, etc. Dr. Smith could have been supportive, sympathetic, compassionate, etc., all qualities one hopes for in a psychiatrist, but that was not the case. She waited until the end of her session, told her she was dropped from the practice - no sympathy, 2nd chance, referrals, nothing but "you're fired"!
