Charged me for 2 months service when I reviewed 1. Refuses to return phone calls.

While my direct interactions with Giovanni Pierre were pleasant, my interactions with the office itself have been a complete joke. I had to ask 3 times to have paperwork faxed to my pharmacy. Ive needed the pharmacy to explain to me what I needed to do because when I asked Giovanni's office, they didnt seem to know and instructed me to call my insurance company, which was not actually what I needed. But mistakes happen. After sending multiple emails, leaving multiple voicemails, still no response. I understand insurance issues take time. I just wanted to know what was going on. Basic communication. I was later told, after becoming frustrated, that Giovanni "does many things." Not sure what that was. So, I wrote another email. This time I got a response that said I know my effort of always following up with Dr. Pierre is still not enough since I always have to wait for his update." They either intentionally miss the point, or have problems with passive aggressiveness. Good luck

I was very relieved to find this provider because I felt like my care was now in good hands & there was no need to have to look any further! I still will only give positive remarks in regards to our two interactions during virtual appointments, as they were a comfortable experience and I do believe he is good clinician. I also believe he has the best of intentions for his patients. In fact, I’m very disappointed to be writing anything negative here, but we all rely on reviews to be truthful so we can make informed decisions about our health & mental care. So, I’m sad to report my initial feeling/ impression turned out incorrect. I’m kind of at a loss for words, but I will do my best to explain what you may can expect after initiating care with him. He & his staff are surprisingly unresponsive when it comes to the portal or communication in general. This is the case for the patient and with the pharmacy! The staff have been apologetic but they seem clueless about what to do/say/etc.

I am very disappointed with my experience with NP Pierre. Out initial appointment was great. He was a good listener, made me feel so comfortable, and answered all my questions related to starting a new medication. He asked me to follow up with him within a month so he can check in, and see how I am doing on said medication. I scheduled an appointment with him last Tuesday which he NEVER showed up for. I called and left FOUR messages over the last week with the receptionist, and he never reached out to me. I then scheduled another appointment with him for today and once again, he never showed up. No phone calls, no emails, nothing just no show. I am now out of my medication, and he could clearly care less. This is a terrible way to treat any patient, and I will never make the mistake of rebooking with him or his practice again.

Dr. Giovanni is someone that I would prefer over anyone else on this app, he was very professional, he understood everything that I told him & in the end we came up with a resolution. He’s awesome!!! He’s an amazing listener & I will make sure that I see him every single time for my appointments.
