This lady is a perfect example of what's wrong with mental healthcare. She is extremely insensitive and lacks total empathy and integrity. I called to make an appointment and JUST her demeanor and phone etiquette were so upsetting that I was appalled. She refused to take me as a patient because "I didn't have any family to come with me on my first visit." Doesn't she realized not everyone has family? The way she spoke to me was so unprofessional and just downright cruel. I can't imagine having to meet someone like her face to face in an appointment setting. I was glad in the end she didn't take me as a patient but I believe she is totally incompetent as a behavioral health care nurse simply from her lack of sensitivity just on the phone! So BE WARNED.

I’ve been a patient of Geri’s for a few months now and she has helped me find the right medication combination after years and years of struggling. I thought everyone was white-knuckling adulthood and motherhood but that’s simply by horn true! She spent a lot of time listening to my story and asked for input from my husband. She’s straight forward and to the point- but I love that. She called and checked on me several times after starting new medication and helped to empower me to decide for myself what was working and what wasn’t. So so so grateful to have her in my corner!

If I could leave less of a star I would. I just received a letter- after sending in multiple voicemails, I received a LETTER- stating that she is refusing to see me. It didnt say why. I had to cancel an appointment at the last minute for a work emergency. I can only assume this is why. She knew I searched for about 2 years looking for medicine to treat me. She doesn’t have a caring bone in her body. I cannot speak low enough. Please find someone else and don’t go through what I’ve been through.

After seeing several others in Arlington and Euless I could not find anyone to help me. I continued to seek someone to help me and I found Geri Disnard. Best thing that ever happened to me. Over the next few months after my first visit I started to improve. I am now at a place that I can reduce my meds. She can help you, she can be tough, but you will get better.
