Uncomfortable
I am uncomfortable with having a male therapist so Gayle was not a good fit. I wish unm had given me a choice on gender. Therapy is so personal. I am also in need of a therapist who can keep tack or write down pertinent information so that each visit is not starting over. I am uncomfortable dominant white men, so it was not a good fit for me. If you are a man it might be a better fit with Gayle. UNM used to have such a good counseling department and its seems to have collapsed. They had good counseling for a long time. Such a disappointment with Gayle.

Waste of my time. Gail is a forensic worker that also treats regular people who are not a criminals like me. Gail did not have knowledge of poverty in New Mexico. Gail could not understand me not having food. Gail does not have a second language like Spanish, Navajo or sign language. Gail only speaks English. Incompetent with helping me with depression or adjustment disorder. Made me worse. I wish I never knew Gail.

I am so happy to have Gail. I really like having a transgender counselor. Gail gets it and is sympathetic with me. Gail is smart and wise. Very good a working with diversity.
