When I gave birth to my son I said I wanted an epidural any sort of pain killer while giving birth all my other kids I had epidurals and with my last I wanted the same, I was in complete pain when the epidural was coming she sent those people out as if I didn't want it, when she checked me I kicked her and told her I wanted the epidural than was trying to talk me out of not getting my tubes tied as if she was gonna help husband and me care for our kids I was very disappointed and dissatisfied with how she did everything and refusing to go by what I wanted the whole hospital heard me scream from how painful it was I do not recommend her in the end I want a doctor and got a midwife

She was an expert and was clear in providing an understanding of our situation without causing unnecessary fear. She addressed our concerns appropriately and helped us feel empowered and safe.

Fuying delivered our baby boy just this week. She is awesome! She's called the baby whisperer by the nurses at TGH. She coached me well while I was pushing. She is very encouraging. I felt like I was dying with pain since I did it all natural, without pain pain meds, no epidural, and I survived it. I had a grade 2 laceration though which she repaired. I am still healing from that, but I am thankful that there is no burning in my urination nor did it cause pain when I had a BM (reached rectum).

Fuying was the midwife at my delivery. She failed to discuss my plan of care and what I wanted during my delivery. When I refused what she was proposing I felt like she became inattentive, which is not typical of the midwives I've had in the past. I had meconium at birth, which she failed to suction and instead dried and stimulated my baby. The baby ended up in the NICU for respiratory distress and possible meconium aspiration.
