Esther McKeown, NP

I saw Dr. McKeown in early 2020 with a number of unrelated symptoms. I didn't feel like she listened to me and instead attributed it most of it to anxiety. As of April 2021, I've been diagnosed with a chronic illness that explains many of the symptoms I described. It is a pretty rare diagnosis and I don't expect her to have figured it out during a routine primary care visit; however, her general dismissiveness was frustrating and I didn't see doctors for a while afterwards because of that experience. I might have caught her on a bad day, and as an instructor I understand how isolated events can impact reviews. I have been thinking about this more recently in light of my diagnosis though, and wanted to share my experience.
