Dont waste your time or money. My husband went to her, as his PCP at the time, for help with a fairly common, basic condition we were certain he had. She said she would help. Told him to go through testing and mutiple follow up appointments so she could appropriately treat him... fine, of course, that makes sense. After multiple tests that consistently proved he had the condition he asked for help with, and several follow up appointments after each round of tests, she decided, after billing him and his insurance for all those follow up appointments, that she 'wasn't comfortable' prescribing anything to actually help. Told him to 'diet and exercize' which he had already been doing with meticulous discipline for 2 years and she knew that. She knew she was never going to prescribe him anything. She should have immediately said at the beginning 'that's not something i can treat' when he first asked her for help and referred him to the appropriate specialist. Instead she got her money and h

I have been seen by Erin for multiple visits. She is caring and very concerned about her patients. She listens to everything you tell her and explains in detail what she thinks based on her exam, test results and the information that the patient provides. She explains why she is ordering a given test or medication. She communicates back to the patient as needed concerning test results or to answer questions. The office staff members are very friendly and scheduled appointments are generally on time. You can also walk into the office at almost any time to get needed blood drawn or to get the vaccinations that they provide in the office although I generally call ahead. The office waiting are is large, bright and clean. I would highly recommend this office with Dr. Gluhanick and Erin Scanlon.

Erin makes good decisions and seems very knowledgeable for all conditions. She spends a good deal of time listening to the patient and explaining what her thoughts are on the patients conditions. Her recommended treatments always seem appropriate.

Generally handles medical problems such as URI acceptably. Provided joint injection and did an excellent job. Is not up to date on current information on mammograms and cancer screening. Not collaborative in working out treatment plans. Refused to treat me for a problem because i do not accept her ideas on screening. Because she was not aware of current research by medical researchers (not alternative practitioners) and seemed to be manipulative, i am again looking for a new practitioner.
