Terrible Experience
The marriage counseling conducted by this provider, only pushed a greater distance between my partner and me. I felt attacked during counseling and would never recommend her to anyone.

Erin is a very empathetic counselor. In more than two years that She worked with me, I made many changes that have improved my thinking and quality of life. She is very skilled in the latest techniques for resolving trauma. I highly recommend her.

Erin saved my marriage. My husband and I entered counseling together after he had been receiving solo counseling. I was leaning toward divorce after 29 years of marriage. After several sessions with her, our marriage has never been more loving and strong.

I use Erin as my therapist and she is none of which you have spoken of in this post. Sometimes it's hard to hear things you do not agree with but that is part of therapy. This is a ridiculous review and she is none of the things this woman has mentioned. She is a great therapist and has helped me tremendously on my journey in life and what I am currently working through.

Erin may be the most judgmental, closed minded “counselor” (and person) I’ve ever met. I think maybe she read the chapter in school on personal boundaries and nothing else; therefore, she is unable to focus on, talk about or otherwise work through anything else, least of all how personal boundaries fit into bigger, more complicated family dynamic situations. Also, she doesn’t seem to like or know how to handle any sort of show of emotion, and she certainly doesn’t like to be disagreed with. She lost the final bit of my respect when she lectured me on my parenting of a complicated child she has never met and knows nothing about, only to go on to say that she is NOT specialized in children in any way. She discredited and disregarded my opinion and perspective of the needs of my own child. She certainly did not help my ex-husband and I work through any of our issues, much less find any solutions. I do not recommend her for anyone looking for support, guidance, or help navigating life.
