This man changed my life. Having suffered from Ulcerative Colitis from 1976 to to the late 1990's, I saw Dr. Mintz when I was in the midst of a modest flare up. My UC was pretty well contained, but I had had modest flareups of symptoms every 2-4 years, for 3-4 months each time, over the 20 years since being hospitalized for UC in 1978. I worked with Dr. Eric for 3 years nearly every week, and after a year or so, I stopped having flare-ups, and I haven't had a flare up or any symptoms since.
