Dr. Eric Hussey, OD

My son's reading improved significantly after the vision therapy treatment program. Amazing doctor explains exact issues with vision and how to correct it. I liked his professional manner with my son, so much I switched and became his patient too.

Unprofessional atmosphere, teenagers administered most of the tests, political opinions hanging all over the office, he brushed off one of my other medical conditions as just in my head, didn't read my list of visual symptoms that I gave him, prescribed a treatment that is only recommended for people up to age 13 for me and I'm an adult, didn't explain what he was doing or when he was going to be close up in my face. Overall, the most uncomfortable I've ever felt in a doctor's office.

My family loves going to Dr. Hussey. He takes his time, and I feel safe and knowledgeable after leaving his office. My teenager said it’s her favorite doctor to go to. Personal do wear masks and keep everything sanitized.

We began at Dr. Hussey's office in August of last year. We have worked with several offices over the last 10 years and Dr. Hussey and staff is hands down the best! One of our children saw Dr. Hussey and found that she could benefit from eye therapy. We began therapy at the end of last year and she has grown tremendously in her vision ability and is able to catch a frisbee now which wasn't attainable before. Since her therapy began we have had our entire family in for vision exams. We are completely satisfied and would highly recommend his office to anyone needing an exam or vision therapy. Finally, we appreciate his willingness to understand that masks aren't possible for everyone; whether it be staff, doctor or patient.

I would have originally given 5 stars, but they do not take Covid safety seriously. They have a sign basically encouraging people to find medical reasons that would allow them not to wear masks inside. None of the people behind the front desk wear masks. The doctor took off his mask during the exam because "his glasses were fogging up." They have signs inside saying that the "2 weeks to flatten the curve" is a conspiracy. As I said, I would have originally given 5 stars, but because of the above reasons, I am taking my business elsewhere.
