Emmanuel Nwabude, NP

I first met Emmanuel over two years ago when I started seeing him to treat my ADHD symptoms. Emmanuel immediately made me feel at ease with his gentle and kind demeanor. He listened to my symptoms and worked with me to find the right medication and dosage for my personal treatment plan. Not only is Emmanuel efficient and knowledgable as he provides excellent medical care, but he is lovely to speak with at every appointment. It’s rare to find a practitioner that combines such personal touches and care for a patient as a person. I highly recommend working with Emmanuel!

I’ve been under Emmanuel Nwabude’s care for almost 3 years and can’t recommend him enough. He’s helped me find the right balance of medication and has been extremely patient and caring during the process. Finding the right psychiatrist is challenging and often an anxiety filled process, but he’s removed all of that for me. I’m very happy to have found such an amazing provider.

The past year Nwabude helped me find the right psychiatric medicine to drastically improve my life at the age of 35. He's calm and knowledgeable about finding the right balance of psychiatric drugs and he trusts my opinions if I think we should try a different dosage. He's always been quick to respond to messages online -- something very important when starting out a psychiatric treatment as medications can mix in mysterious ways. I highly recommend him to anyone seeking help with their mental wellbeing. Without his help I wouldn't have had the most stable year of my life.

I cannot recommend Emmanuel. I felt he didn't listen to my concerns and priorities. He responded to my written communications in broken sentence fragments. He was unreachable by phone because his contact info was strangely missing from the providers app. As someone new to this kind of treatment I was hoping for someone to coach and guide me but that's not the experience I had.

I highly recommend Emmanuel. I have been under his care for 3 years and know him to be very competent and caring. I am comforted knowing that I can trust him with my treatment decision and that he really cares about me.

I am seeing Emmanuel now for about 3 years. I like his professionalism and knowledge and the fact that he listens to me, he listens to my concerns and questions and takes the time to answer. He explains to me in a way I can understand how the medication works since I am always curious about the science behind it. When I sometimes do my own research (be it from reputable or not so reputable online sources) and tell him my "findings", he takes the time to listen, answer and explain. The medication he prescribed works perfect for me and helps me a lot in my day to day life. About the office: The staff is super friendly, the office is very nice, appointments are always on time! And they are always reachable and responsive over the phone as well. I have had only great experience with Emmanuel in particular and the North Houston Psychiatry in general.

Appointments are always been on time. The office started phone appointments during the pandemic and those have been handled wonderfully.

Can't say enough great things about Emmanuel. I have been seeing him so sometime now and through some very turbulent times in my life having lost both parents recently within a span of 6 months from each other. He has been simply amazing. His treatment regimes are practical. It's very easy to schedule appointments and get refills, you simply text a number and it is all handled. He's almost always on time and often times early. I highly recommend him.

Excellent experience! Dr Nwabude listened to my issues and recommended a change in prescriptions and has been very open to my concerns and moving slowly on medication changes.
