Dr. Emelyne Woessner, PSY.D

Emmy is an outstanding counselor. She takes the time to listen and involve the patient and adapts her approach to your particular needs. I have a very long history of trauma and Emmy has the expertise and patience to work through it with me. I have been working with her for over a year and, while I have a long way to go, I feel like I have made some significant progress. So far we have focused on my understanding how my PTSD is affecting my brain, recognizing when it is happening, and developing the ability to cope with those crises. Our goal as we proceed is to work to mitigate the PTSD itself to the extent possible. I feel like I am in good hands. Emmy is an excellent counselor and I am glad I have her help. She is very comfortable with remote appointments when and as long as necessary.
