Elmer Amparo, NP

Didn't get a chance to visit as it was canceled due to the NP having an emergency, which happens. The frustrating part was there were no rescheduling until more than a month later. I'm traveling so now I'm stuck without being seen.

Told me I possibly had appendicitis ordered ultrasound. I had the ultrasound he did not call me with any results. I called and left a message and he did not return my phone call when I went to my G.I. doctor she said he should’ve know to order a CAT scan or not an ultrasound.

He suggested treatment immediately

My visit started with a friendly welcome by security giving me direction to the office of Elmer Amparo. When I arrived to the office the kind front desk processed me quickly and with a smiling greeting. I waited a few minutes when the PA called my name and took me to a large and clean examining room. After her intake she explained to me that Elmer will be with me shortly. Within a couple minutes Elmer Amparo entered and asked a few questions while 'listening closely' to what I was saying then began his examination while explaining to me some causes and walking me through all the next steps and how they would be followed up etc. He left once he completed his examination and quickly entered the nurse to do what she does best with a great sense of humor helping me to relax more and more as time passed. Once she completed her tests with me and left Elmer Ampara again entered quickly with my referrals, prescriptions and walked me through everything with great detail. Amazing humans here!
