Office won't response to voicemail or portal msgs
I saw Dr. Janousek in February for an eye exam and treatment consult. He seemed to only want me to get cataract surgery and was indifferent to my request for treatment of dry eye disorder. He didn't discuss treatment options, only said he'd prescribe something covered by my insurance. I was prescribed a $$$ medication NOT covered by my insurance and got pushback when I asked for a generic that IS covered. That Rx needed prior authorization. I spoke to a technician from his team a month ago and they said the prior auth was submitted, and they were waiting for a response. I checked today, and my insurance has not received ANYTHING from their office. Throughout this two-month ordeal, I've tried leaving voicemails and messages on the portal, and all are ignored. I feel abandoned me as a patient. I now have to start over with a different MD. Needless to say, I won't be getting cataract surgery done at Dr. Janousek's practice.
