Ellen Healy, LMHC

I have seen Ellen Healy for many years. Her approach is to treat people like normal humans and not tell them what they need/want to hear. She has always listened to what I have to say even when it is absurd. If you wish to be coddled Ellen definitely isn't for you! She is continuously staying abreast of new studies and treatments in an attempt to help me (and others) continue making forward progress with my issues (which can sometimes be overwhelming to even the most experienced people). I can honestly say she has always made herself available in times of need. I owe her much gratitude.

I saw this counselor for a long time. She doesn't know what she is doing. Her methods are outdated and basically she is just a social worker. She has outdated information regarding mental health diagnosis and she is convinced she knows better than most doctors. She needs to find another line of work.

I don't think she knows what she is doing. I went a few times and she just screamed at me to stop doing stuff. I had to get a new counseler and he said it's not normal to scream at patients. She was really bad.
