Ellen Erlichman, LCSW

Ellen has been an incredible support to me in a very tumultuous time in my life. She never sugarcoated what I needed to hear, but it was always said with compassion and grace. Ellen is an incredible social worker.

Ms. Erlichman made me feel like my issues were my fault and was not supportive whatsoever - she lets her opinions get in the way of her work hard to schedule and unfriendly front office staff save your money and find someone who is qualified

“Ms Ellen” does not support positive parenting solutions. She believes in punishing children for their adhd uncontrollable and unmedicated behaviors. She does not believe in a trial or logical consequences not is she familiar with age appropriate expectations. Her recommendations are very antiquated, even to the point of threatening to children and their parents. She is by no means family friendly. She is judgmental, attempts to establish relationships with one parent over another in an effort to gain control. She is unprofessional with other professionals. Ellen does not support positive parenting and is detrimental to and threatened by a parent/child bond. She is unprofessionally threatened by intelligence and experience and will make an attempt to punish an adult or child for any slight in “disrespect” (real or imagined). Ellen Erlichman is defiantly not a psychologist and is in violation of her right to retain a social worker license in Illinois. She is damaging to children.

Ellen is terrible. She will cause more harm to children and is a divisive force. She will side with one parent and help the children hate the other parent. Stay away from her. She also reaches judgments without hearing both sides of a story. Find someone else. Id give zero stars if possible

Ellen works a lot, but Ive never felt rushed as one of the reviews had mentioned. She's easy to talk to and is straightforward to directly help your needs. She will listen carefully and understands both sides of a problem.
