We took our 6 yr old to see Dr. Ruben. She prescribed a battery of unneeded tests, and we were billed $1500 by the lab. We have good insurance and never have to pay for anything for our children, but they were only able to adjust it down to $1000 out of pocket, because the tests were completely unnecessary and not preventative. It's been an awful experience trying to get this situated, all because this doctor is clearly incompetent and/or doesn't care if she gouges her patients. Beware.
