Very cold, unfriendly demeaner As a mental health specialist and also as someone who has been in therapy for trauma for years, I have never felt such disdain from someone. Her form of therapy made me feel subhuman, as if I were a lab rat she was studying. I was very warm and open but no matter how bubbly and light my energy was, it was as if she needed to exert this negative energy over me, pick me apart. Alot of people choose professions where they have no interest in working with marginalized communities becasue they seem to look down on them . This is the dynamic I felt. As if she were looking down on me and not seeing me as a human,but as something to gawk at and analyze .
