If I could give no stars I would. She treated me for Severe anxiety a few years back. She NEVER knew who I was, spending the first 15 minutes of every appointment to read my chart in front of me. I never knew if she would approve my medication that allowed me to work. Something that was meant to be monitored for any dependency issues. It felt more like I was visiting a Drug Pusher, as she never asked how I was doing. Like I said she couldn't remember who I was from each appointment. When she left her private practice and joined a partnership she dropped me as a patient with no referral or any assistance to ween off off my medication, which can be fatal. She said and I quote 'I can't explain you to my partners so this will be your last prescription from me. I won't be treating you anymore.' She barely looked at me. She should not be allowed to talk to patients in my opinion. She only cares about her paycheck not people.

Didn't make eye contact, rushed the appointment, was late, got up to do something with her cat in the middle of the appointment, answered her phone, I could see her doing something on her computer screen through her classes, clearly wasn't listening to me as she was just saying "mmhmm" every few seconds and then asked questions I had already answered. Made me feel judged and responsible for my issues I had had seeking treatment before. Honestly, very rude and not compassionate.

Didn’t listen to me or take me seriously. Spoke to me for 15 minutes and provided a rushed assessment without my informed consent. Dismissive and judgmental. Seemed to blame me for my own problems, which I attempted to address but was ignored. Felt much worse after the consultation.

Do not go to her if you need someone to help you. She is only focused on the medication and not your wellbeing. If you ever want to go down or taper your meds, she will suggest more. She wants to get you off the phone as soon as possible. If you show any emotion she will automatically call you hysterical and threaten to call the police. The last few times I expressed frustration and cried she did exactly that - and said the only thing she can do for me now is suggest that I check myself in to a mental hospital because I was a danger to myself, although I was clearly articulating that I wasn't. Then she hung up the phone. I actually laughed when I saw one of her areas of treatment is "depression with psychosis" and "depression with suicidality" because this woman is not capable of handling people with those issues. Good luck.

I have been a patient at Carolina Partners for the past 2 years and I am very pleased with Liz Bruce's professionalism and her dedication to helping me during a very difficult time in my life. She always returns my phone calls and has been available to see me after hours during a crisis. She was able to spend time with me and provided me with valuable information about community resources. She is excellent in adjusting antidepressant medication and I am finally on the correct medication.

She is very rude and not compassionate. After one visit, she forgot my name and did not listen to me. During my first visit, she answered her personal phone and talked for 15+ minutes. She she does not listen to the concerns of her patients and is very inconsiderate of the feelings of patients who are already struggling and/or sensitive.
