Edward Rakler, PA-C

Not sure about the previous reviewers complaint. All I know is Dr Rakler kept his office open during the height of the pandemic when all other Dr Offices in the area closed. He worked long hours while staff was out sick. He even worked at night to service and vaccinate the local firefighters. He is an excellent Dr who follows protocol. I am glad he is so close to my mother's place. We would have been in trouble during the pandemic if he had also closed. He's a local hero.

-100. This office values profits over people and it was proven when in the midst of a global pandemic I was treated like a expendable piece of trash. I was denied a medical excuse during a time where NJ numbers were spiking at the highest in the country next to NY. I have been going to this office for over 10 years and Rakler was well aware of my medical history and that I was categorically at risk. I begged and pleaded him to just fax, email, even text a note that would excuse me from work until things calmed down. I felt so let down. Fortunately, I was able to reach my specialist and I've been excused from work ever since. The crazy thing is, I've only been seen by this particular specialist 3x prior. Once the numbers started to go down, Rakler refused to approve a refill for my RX and I was told that I had to come into the office. Why not make an exception for someone who is at risk? I truly learned how some "professionals" treat people who rely on them in a time of crisis!
