Dr. Edward Paul, OD

My first appointment with Dr. Paul was noteworthy. His reception staff was efficient, thorough, and timely gathering my medical history. Upon completing my medical history, I had virtually no wait to see Dr. Paul. His Vision Assistant was knowledgeable with her responsibilities, including very knowledgeable with the initial eye exam equipment. After the preliminaries were completed, I then met Dr. Paul. I was very impressed with Dr. Paul’s professional demeanor, his empathy, and most of all his knowledge to diagnose a complex eye issue in a matter of minutes. Dr. Paul sat down with me and took the time to provide a very detailed explanation in layman‘s terms that were easy to comprehend When I left his office I felt significant relief that my serious eye problem was correctly diagnosed. I look forward to my follow up examination in a few weeks. Wilmington is very fortunate to have a doctor with Dr. Paul skills.

We met with him today and he was wonderful !! We are very hopeful that our daughter with Aniridia will be able to drive when her bioptics arrive . He was so genuine , informative and caring . Can't wait to see what the future holds for Chloe !!

Dr Paul made a life changing difference for my dad!!! He has struggled with macular degeneration for years only to be told that nothing could be done. There is no cure but let me just say this dr can help!!! My dad will be able to drive again, read the paper without a magnifying glass and watch tv!!!! All the things he was no longer able to do he now can with the help of his 2 new pair of binocular glasses. If you or someone you know has macular degeneration DO NOT WAIT GO SEE DR PAUL!!

Dr Paul is very informative and helpful. He makes sure all your concerns are answered. He stays very current on new treatments and tools for low vision. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

It is difficult to express in words what a difference Dr Paul has made in my life. My vision had declined until I could no longer read even large print, which not only took away my joy of reading, it also made daily life very difficult. My eyes are also very sensitive to light and the bright sun makes mobility very difficult. Dr Paul worked with me to help meet my individual needs. I now am able to read, walk outside, & see the scenery as I travel with my family! I highly recommend for all ages!
