I never felt judged by Edlyne, nor have I ever felt coddled to the point of not being able to self reflect. Most counselors will see patients who are self aware and say, “you don’t need therapy. You’re so self aware, you don’t need therapy.” Edlyne was transparent that being self aware and being actionable, as well as, accountable was the key. She has been there for the ups and downs and not once has she given up on me, even when I wanted to give up on myself. While Edlyne is no pushover, she will give you some stern advice when necessary but it’s done in a positive light.

I have had prior experiences in counseling and came in not expecting much due to my prior experiences with my past therapists as a teen. I love how she listens without passing any judgment. I have been going through so much in my relationship that it was affecting my job. She often knows just what to say to help me see things from a different point of view. I am glad I used my Lyra benefits through my job. I am so grateful. I have been telling my friends about her and referred my classmate to her.

She completely no-showed for our first appointment. She ended up calling me later and tried to justify her no-show with some excuses. I booked her through Lyra Health. She failed to email me and send me a Lyra portal message with a link to our video chat session, which she was supposed to do according to Lyra. I called her multiple times and she wouldn't pick up. When she finally called me back, she didn't even know my name. Her actions were unprofessional and insulting. She said she was late because she had a meeting. I scheduled my session far in advance; if she can't prioritize her commitments, then she's not the right mental health provider for me. You can make your own decision, but this has been my experience with Edlyne Thelusma.

Extremely unprofessional. Cancels without reason. Late and forgetful. Would not recommend to my worst enemy.

Very unprofessional. I actually never got to meet with her as she canceled my virtual meeting with her 5 minutes after my scheduled start time. She sent times that she would be able to reschedule for and my 2nd attempt with meeting with her was a complete bust. She never logged into our meeting. I waited of 20 minutes and she also didn't bother to even send a message. Ridiculous. I would not suggest anyone waste their time with her. (it really should allow zero stars because she's undeserving of one at all)
