He should NOT have a license!
This man has treated my daughter for several years. I honestly feel he has done more harm than good. He diagnosed her with ADHD which she may have, unfortunately he refused to look any further. For the last couple years she has had 3 psychotic breaks, where she has become totally delusional. The first time she was self admitted to a crisis center and recently has had two 2 mandatory holds. When I reached out for help with concerns regarding her and recent traumatic events that she was dealing with. I got no response, instead she gets a message from him stating " She thinks your crazy I didn't respond." I have a copy of his message. Her mental health has created so much loss in her life. I honestly feel Douglas Benjamin has added to that loss by not referring her to someone more qualified to diagnose her. Everyone around my daughter could see she had more going on than ADHD. Hopefully she just got the correct diagnosis of Bipolar with Psychosis which can be treated with medication.
