Her profile from Great Lakes Psychology Group claims that she is familiar with the polyamory/ethical non-monogamy lifestyle. During a couples session, she refused to accept jealousy as a natural feeling to have in a polyamorous relationship. She said, and I quote, "jealousy doesn't belong in polyamory". She expects compersion right out of the gate, and if you have jealousy of any kind, "polyamory might not be right for you". Instead of having it out with her about how jealousy is a natural human emotion, and it's how you work through that jealousy that counts, I shut down during the session. I think she sensed something because she ended our session after only 33 minutes. She is probably a good therapist for other people, but my husband and I did not find her very poly-friendly or knowledgeable enough in the matter to be a good therapist for us.

She seemed to have a lot of opinions, like stating "it doesn't sound like he can afford an engagement ring for you" after asking about my partners salary and what he spends his money on. And in the end states "it sounds like he found another women" which I'm telling you that's not the case at all.
