Awful experience with this woman. Would NOT recommend. Especially if you're young. She was so condescending and overall just a rude person. After I expressed my concerns about coming off of brith control to her, she basically told me I was depressed and suggest psychiatric help.

Very nice, knowledgable and professional
Donna was my Gyn Physician for years even prior to moving from Box Hill practice. I always found her to be very congenial and very professional. Waiting times were never too long and I did not feel rushed or disrespected in any way.

False documenting and flat out RUDE
In an OB rotation I encountered Donna and almost left the practice entirely after my visit. She was more concerned about my obesity (165lbs, pregnant, 5’1) and the calories in my ranch dressing than my worsening depression. Zero bedside manner with snide remarks afterwards. False documentation of our encounter addressing my concerns where in fact, we had a fat chat, Doppler check, and sent on my way. After hearing about her from the Harford Co women’s group online, I am surprised she still has a job at upper Chesapeake. Disgusted.

Visit one very well. Very short wait in the waiting room. Staff very helpful. Donna was friendly, asked me plenty of questions. Did a thorough exam like no other GYN doctor has done.

Donna is condescending, lacks empathy, and has zero bedside manner. She passes out snide remarks but fails to answer logical questions. I lasted a couple visits called the insurance company, filed a complaint, and then requested permission to switch offices because I didn’t want to deal with UCWC anymore.

I would never go to her again. I went to her when I first got pregnant and I was expressing to her about how I had a miscarriage prior to me getting pregnant again and she was extremely rude, spoke unprofessional about the situation, and was not compassionate what so ever. At upper chesapeake women's care you have to go through a routation and I refuse to see her again. During the appointment she began to tell me that I am clearly not 9 weeks pregnant (even though I was), she conducted an ultrasound and handed me the paper telling me that here’s my blob, and never had any kind words to say through the entire appointment She clearly needs to have another job that doesn’t involve dealing with people.

Donna Kern is a hateful, rude and judgmental person. There were some comments that were said to me when I was asked the normal questions and I told her the truth about, which you are told to do even when you're young is to not keep info from your doctor. I have never felt more disgusting in my life as a woman. I left the appointment before she could even start the exam when she was working for Dr. Kaplan behind Wegmans in bel air. She needs a different profession.

Very condescending provider. I was told I need to see a psychiatrist at my first visit. I was talked to as if I was completely illiterate especially when I was having problems with my medication. Will be finding a new provider.

I will never step foot in a facility that this doctor is part of. I have never felt more judged by a doctor in my life, not to mention - it was the first prenatal visit for my first child and ended up leaving in tears and feeling completely disheartened.

Donna Kern leaves a lot to be desired. I absolutely agree that she is condescending and churlish to say the least. She acts like she is doing you a favor by being in the room with you. The minute I walked in the room (for only my second, and last appointment with her!) she started by telling me what she WASN'T going to do to help me. I will never go to her again. She is a mean, nasty person. No compassion. I think she dislikes women and is working in the wrong profession.

I thought Donna Kern was very good. She was caring, respectful, LISTENED, asked questions, gave me a lot of information and suggestions. Honestly it was the best doctors visit I've had in a long time. I thought she was very knowledgeable

Dr. Kern is the first and only GYN to make me feel comfortable and ease my anxiety. I would recommend her to anyone and would follow her anywhere she goes.

(Part 2 of 2) you will be reprimanded if you are even 5 mins late and call them ahead of time, charged if you're over 10 mins late, the list of un-professionalism with the front desk goes on and on. My most recent gripe is I called them 5 weeks ago so that I could fill out a medical release form to change doctors--it took them 10 days (with many calls) to fax me the form. The new medical practice I'm going to just received my files from them YESTERDAY, a week after my first appointment with them
