Donna has been an essential part of guiding me through some of the most difficult and painful moments of my life. Her wisdom, unwavering support, and ability to challenge me in just the right ways have allowed me to break through layers I didn’t even realize were there. She is so much more than a skilled psychologist—she has been a true partner in my journey toward healing and growth. I am deeply grateful for her impact on my life.

Donna is wonderful; she challenges you, she listens, she makes suggestions, she helps you see things in a different way. You must be ready to dig deep, address difficult issues and do the work. Yes, she shoots from the hip, if you need coddling do not go to her. If you need a challenge and learn ways to change and be a better version of yourself go to her. She helped me immeasurably which helped my family.

My uncle sent me to her. I was a mess. Lot's of physical issues as well as depression. Pretty close to giving up. I saw Donna and she helped me sort out the issues, navigate the health care system and sort out what was emotional verses physical. Because of her I have a team of people who have helped me get my life back. She asked very thought provoking questions. She digs deep. I have tools that are with me all the time. She was very helpful.

Over the past nearly 30 years, I have referred many patients to Donna D'Aloia for treatment of a variety of illnesses ranging from depression and PTSD to ADHD and anxiety. She has at all times cared very deeply for my patients and changed many lives. Because pain and mental health are so intertwined, her expertise and unsurpassed knowledge of brain function and chemical imbalance has proved time and again to be invaluable. My patients know her as someone who will always be there for them.

I would never ever recommend for a young adult. She was extremely bold and truly DID NOT listen. She formed her own judgements and facts without ALL the information. I believe her intentions are there but her recommendations and intuitiveness were way off. Fortunately, she was fired before anything detrimental happened.

Donna is very difficult to work with. she tells you upfront she is shoots from the hip and is straightforward this to me felt like an excuse/permission to excuse her lack of ability to ask effective questions, soften the appearance of perceived judgment, and probably in many cases excuse actual judgment. She claims to be aggressive In helping people to get better and be aggressive with treatment reconmendations but I now after ~7 sessions and firing her feel like I need therapy from seeing her.
