Dr. Donald Seibert, OD

I went to an Optometrist who didn't even exam my eyes other than standing in a hallway and having a penlight flashed in my eyes. Diagnosis: dry eye and a birthmark on my Retina. Use natural tears. Told me to feel lucky I only had a few floaters. Didn't even charge me. My primary care physician was the one who found the place on my eye and told me to see an optometrist. So he wasn't happy with the exam I got and told me to go to another optometrist. Saw Dr. Seibert at Valley Vision and he did a complete eye exam. The so-called birthmark the other optometrist said I had was a torn Retina and pieces of it was the floaters. If not for Dr. Seibert explaining to me what was going on and what to expect with the torn Retina and when I needed to go immediately to the ER, I could have gone blind in that eye if I had listened to the other Optometrist. I also needed bifocals. Thanks to Dr. Seibert I am seeing much better now and I know when I need to go to the ER if the torn retina gets worse.
