Domenic Tamborriello, LMSW

I only worked with Domenic for about three years before moving back to the New York City area, but if therapy does in any way influence the choices we make, it's fair to say that therapy with Domenic saved my life. I came to him at a time when I badly needed purpose, direction, and support. Even though it was over 30 years ago, I remember our work well. Our individual sessions helped me get into dialogue with parts of myself I had suppressed, and helped me clarify my priorities. His men's group was my first exposure to group therapy and was an incredibly healing experience. The diversity of the group opened me up to life's possibilities, and many of the men provided a model for openness and communication that is still a model for me. Thirty years later and after many more experiences with therapists in New York, I have the resilience needed to face life's challenges, and I continue the men's work that started in his office all those years ago.
