Dina Blake, LMFT

Dina Blake dated my father while seeing him as his therapist. We are currently taking action to revoke her license. This destroyed our family and I would highly recommend you find someone else as we are still in the process of getting it revoked.

Me and my ex-husband were both clients and saw Dina together for marital counseling for awhile. We then separated and Dina continued to see us both separately, though we had very different goals for the separation. She was happy to bill both of us, despite the very clear conflict of interest.

I attended sessions with Dina for a few months. I think she works hard to provide down-to-earth practical solutions, but don't expect structured or highly-polished professionalism. For me that she was regularly late, double-booked me once, and rarely re-read any notes so we often covered the same issue twice, as if new, didn't suit me. Overall I liked Dina, felt she tried hard, but I need a more formal and structured environment - I could see how her style would suit many. I think if I were a parent of 5 children, with a lazy spouse, a stressful career, domineering in-laws, and financial worries, Dina could help sort out a plan to keep it all in check and help one develop practical coping and prioritization mechanisms, but for me personally I find more formal professional PHD psychologists better match my deep-thinking therapy needs.
