My Therapist for 4 Years
Telehealth
Warm, friendly, caring, positive, professional. Easily adapts her treatment plan to my specific needs. Uses various approaches to help me achieve healing and is a great life coach. My treatment consists of a balanced blend of listening, questioning, and making suggesting or recommendations. Her expertise is very broad and she has helped me through domestic violence, marital separation and divorce, panic attacks effecting my job performance, major illness and surgery requiring 4 months of hospitalization and near death, PTSD, anxiety, and depression. I am so glad I met her through my employer's EAP and have continued to see her ever since. She has helped me so much.

On our first visit all we really discussed was my husband and my families mental health history and ages of our family members. Deceased and no longer living in our home. Didn't address the issue we came to her for help with. The second visit we still did not start working on the issue we came in for help with. She was the one doing all the talking. She would cut us off if we tried to talk about the issue. She wanted to talk about a technique we would be using on the next session. The technique of the person holding an object gets to talk. Still no help with our issue. After this we decided not to waste anymore time with a person who was not helping us. We canceled all of the other appointments. Was not helpful to us and we are still struggling with the issue we came to her for help with.

Experienced, stellar therapist
I highly recommend the services of Diane Goula for women who are undergoing complex divorces, and high risk child and parenting issues. As my therapist, she was an adapt listener and helped to parse out the layers of issues. A very down-to-earth person. She helps identify workable goals, and the techniques and resources to get there. She has a real eagle eye for seeing through b.s. It is evident she is in her profession because she truly cares about people. She helped turn my life around.

An Excellent and Amazing Therapist
Ms. Goula is an Amazing therapist. I paid thousands of dollars at a well known place to run hours of tests to diagnose my son with the same thing that Ms. Goula diagnosed him within a couple of sessions. She knows exactly how to help her patients, what medications to take and what to do on a daily basis (slight lifestyle changes) to reduce the problem. Additionally, online scheduling and appointments are extremely easy and convenient. She also shares her own life stories which makes her a caring person and not a usual detached therapist.

Diane has been a most helpful and understanding therapist. Her personal experience and professional expertise makes her insight not only valuable but genuine and compassionate as well. Plus it's super easy and convenient to see her: online scheduling; skype sessions; and PayPal available; in addition to traditional contact and session methods. I would highly recommend Diane to anyone looking for a supportive and empathetic therapist who offers an environment of non judgement and healing.
