Diane Delk, LPCC

Diane helped me through a touch situation. She is compassionate. She was able to find the heart of the problem, but it took a number of sessions to reach that point. It can't be found in the first session. When that was identified, she was able to help me through it. We worked together to set up steps and a plan of action. I have to admit it was tough to hear but she was right. I appreciated her directness. You understood where is was coming from and why and it was in my best interest.

At my first (and only) appointment, Diane told me that I was not connected enough to my emotions to pursue therapy with her, then proceeded to mock me for hyperventilating during a panic attack. This was insanely unprofessional, especially given I was seeking help to cope with trauma due to emotional neglect.

I’ve seen many counselors in my life, but Diane has been the best. She has deep empathy and compassion for her clients. She is very knowledgeable and I always leave feeling better than when I came in. She’s easy to open up to and talk to. She’s easy to trust. I really respect her.

Mrs. Delk is amazing! Very knowledgeable and passionate about what she does. The environment is always pleasant, time spent is always productive and I never leave with the same problem I came in with. Highly recommend for anyone willing to trust the process and hear what she has to offer.
